Garuda Aviary is a nonprofit, exotic bird rescue operation dedicated to providing lifelong sanctuary for abused and neglected companion birds.

The Aviary was founded on the principle that the power of compassion is limitless and that life takes on meaning only to the degree to which we can bring love into the lives of others. With spacious housing and play-space, abundant nourishment, stimulating toys, and focused attention and affection, Garuda Aviary creates the optimum environment for these marvelous birds. In order to prevent future abuse, we also help educate the public about the huge commitment and responsibility involved in taking exotic birds into one's care, as well as the tragic effects of the illicit bird trade.
